  2. Hello Matthias,

thank you for analyzing the webcam stream. Is it possible to modify your tool in that manner, that it is possible to load it as an applet from a separate web server into a web browser like firefox? Unfortunately the build-in camera web server only supports the download and execution of an activex component, although some specs says activex AND java are supported. But in my tests I couldn”t find the required xplug.class on the camera, so java seems not to work on the WL 5460.

    Best regards,
    Andreas

  3. Hello,

very nice infos. But I am also trying to enable Linux-Firefox-Access to the WebCam (SparkLan CAS-630W). Reading the manual there seems to be a way to get access via Java by changing from View_ActiveX-Mode to View_JAVA-Mode by the Windows-Software IPView - needs Win88SE or above.

I have only a little rest of Windows98 - no 98SE or above :-( For configuration with IE its ok, but this Web-Confiuration has no JAVA-Enabling-Menu :-((

There should be a way to activate JAVA without installing Win98SE and the IPView - but how???

    CU
    Matthias
